           Have you ever experienced the feeling of being hungry? If yes, then you can resonate with this text, if not, well then this text will show you how hard poverty is and what other people are experiencing nowadays. This picture shows a tricycle driver is a family man who works to feed and take care of his family. His life is hard for his part because his income is not fixed and it’s not guaranteed that he will have an income every day. This problem is a tough one, but it can be resolved if poverty is promoted and publicized to each and every citizen in this world.

            Poverty is one of the major problems of most countries and poverty existed in the 1770’s until the present. We can stop this major problem by simply knowing the details and the tough situation of poverty. Knowing how hard poverty is will change the minds of most people. Most people just throw away food, eat too much food, waste food for nontrivial reasons while others work hard and suffer just to eat 3 times a day. It hurts my feelings just to see unfinished or uneaten food and leftovers in garbage cans.

            Seeing people suffer because of poverty, surely we would feel the urge to help them stand up and fight poverty. If people will know how tough poverty is, they’ll arrive to a realization of contributing little by little of some of their possessions and as time runs, people involved in poverty will also run away from poverty and start standing up again. With these contributions, we can help communities establish projects to help the people in need and gain economic security, making sure that everyone has enough to eat. If poverty increases overtime, contributions increase overtime also but with extra strength from many people and as time passes, poverty will disappear.

             Now we have seen how hard poverty is, now we have seen how the world feels like with poverty roaming around the streets. Now the question is, how will the world look and feel like WITHOUT poverty? No more people asking for money, no more workers that would undergo strenuous activities just to earn sufficient amount of money. Now this could happen if we unite and help one another. I believe that this could work, even a little contribution can give a huge progress on chasing away poverty.

       We cannot let poverty prevail and we can’t let poverty control us, we must be the one controlling poverty. Of all the 245 years living in this planet, poverty still doesn’t cease and still lives in this world that God gave us to take care. Is it ok for everyone? Is it ok for YOU to let poverty exist? Now let us join hands, help each other, and save lives and achieve a truly green environment and society.
